Insects definition: six jointed legs, three body parts, a pair of antennae, compound eyes, and an exoskeleton. The three body parts are the head, thorax (the chest), and abdomen (the tail end). The only exception is the Arachnids who have 4 pairs of legs. Evolving knowledge of this discipline has manifested collections dedicated to committing them to a pictorial record. Artists and print-makers recorded these wonderful creatures that make are all the building blocks of our world.
